The Rogers Red World Legend Mastercard pairs Mastercard’s new premium benefits tier with telecom perks including free global roaming and entertainment credits
Rogers Bank has introduced the Rogers Red World Legend Mastercard, the first card in Canada to carry Mastercard’s World Legend designation, its newest premium tier above World Elite.
Cardholders earn 3% cash back value when redeeming toward Rogers products and services, alongside cash back on global spending with no foreign exchange fees. The card includes a $200 annual entertainment credit covering streaming and TV services such as Xfinity and Sportsnet+, 10 days per year of complimentary international roaming for eligible Rogers wireless customers, and access to reservations at high-demand restaurants worldwide.
“Canadians are seeking more than rewards, they expect personalized benefits, insider access and VIP treatment that brings the exceptional into the everyday,” said Craig Reiff, Senior Vice President Core Payments at Mastercard Canada.
The launch coincides with the introduction of The Mastercard Collection, a set of dining, entertainment and travel benefits now available to World, World Elite and World Legend cardholders globally, with benefits for Canadian cardholders currently focused on international travel and additional local benefits expected throughout 2026.
As an early promotional tie-in, Rogers Red World Legend cardholders can enter to win a trip to the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England, through Mastercard’s partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 team, including roundtrip airfare, accommodation and access to the facility.
“With this new card, customers get more value out of their Rogers services, combined with Mastercard’s global benefits,” said Nick Bednarz, CEO of Rogers Bank.
