Fifty customers will win £2,026 every month under a new prize draw open to Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland account holders
Lloyds has replaced its Everyday Offers feature with a new in-app rewards hub, bundling prize draws, cashback, retail discounts and financial challenges into a single destination for its current account customers.
The headline offer is a monthly prize draw paying £2,026 to each of 50 randomly selected winners. To qualify, customers must deposit at least £1,000 into a Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland personal current account each month via salary, pension or benefits payments. The draw opened on 1 June, with first winners announced in July. Customers must activate their entry each month through the app or online banking.
Other features available now include discounts on Apple products and accessories, cashback at retailers including Sainsbury’s, B&M and IHG, and deals from Virgin Wines, Readly and SMOL. A dedicated Lloyds Apple store is coming, with a separate draw to win £1,000 to spend on Apple products.
The hub also includes financial engagement features. Customers who set a renewal reminder for broadband, energy or mobile contracts are entered into a draw for £5,000, with the app alerting them before renewal and offering access to Lloyds’ Bill Switcher tool. A separate draw offers 50 customers £50 each for visiting the rewards section three times in a calendar month.
“From prize draws and cashback to discounts and challenges, we’re helping people get something back from their everyday spending,” said Paul Wilkinson, Rewards Director at Lloyds.
The launch puts Lloyds alongside ING and Emirates NBD in a growing push by retail banks to embed lifestyle and rewards features directly into their core banking apps.
