The tie-up targets business owners managing cash flow pressure on large inventory orders
Alliance Bank Malaysia and retail chain 99 Speed Mart have launched a 0% instalment plan for bulk purchases through 99 Speed Mart’s online platform, 99 Bulksales, targeting SMEs and traders managing large inventory requirements.
Available from June 2026, Alliance Bank credit cardholders can split eligible transactions of RM500 and above on 99bulksales.my into three equal monthly payments at zero interest. The option activates at checkout with no additional paperwork. Business credit cardholders are included.
The arrangement gives SMEs a way to stock up without tying up working capital in a single outlay, which the bank says is particularly relevant given current economic uncertainty. The deal was formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed by Raymond Chui, Group Chief Business and Transaction Banking Officer at Alliance Bank, and Albert Lee, Alternate Director of 99 Speed Mart.
“By collaborating with 99 Speed Mart, we can reach a wider network of business owners with a practical, customer-centric, digital-first tool,” said Chui.
Alongside the partnership, Alliance Bank has refreshed its Mastercard Platinum Business Credit Card, now offering cashback of up to 1.25% on all spending, including bonus cashback on utility bills covering electricity, water and telecommunications. The annual fee is waivable with a business account or loan, or minimum annual spend of RM12,000. Cardholders also receive discounts of up to 90% on selected business solutions through Mastercard Easy Savings Specials.
